SOCIAL AND HUMAN SERVICES

Careers in the Helping Professions

Providing supportive assistance for people is at the core of the Social and Human Services program. Follow your passion for helping, whether in behavioral health services such as mental health, addiction, or co-occurring illnesses. You can impact families in school districts, their communities, and children and youth in schools or agencies. Instructors with real-world experience in human services and classroom instruction will provide practical, hands-on learning opportunities grounded in best practices. You will gain general skills in human services or specialize in areas such as addiction, family support, mental health technician, prevention services, or reentry navigation.
