Head Coach: Shelby Schenck
Shelby Schenck has been tabbed as the leader of the brand new men's and women's cross country programs at Edmonds College.
Schenck has coached the Bothell High School cross country and track and field teams for past several seasons, and previously served as an assistant cross country coach at Everett CC. In 2018 he led the Bothell High School boys track team to a 4A state title. In 2009 he helped Everett CC win an NWAC Championship on the women's side. Together with Matt Koenigs, they would build a dynasty at Everett, capturing five NWAC cross country team titles over a five year period.
His former athletes include a current professional, an Olympian, four Olympic Trials qualifiers, three National Champions, 16 individual high school state champions and 43 NCAA and NAIA All-Americans.
In the abbreviated 2021 COVID-season (the first cross country season in college history) Schenck led the Tritons to an unofficial Northwest Region title and mentored two Tritons — Dylan Lennon and Christina Savenkova — to NWAC Track All-American recognition.
Schenck has owned and operated Run 26, a running store in Mill Creek for the past 10 years, and resides in Kenmore, Wash.
