Between the Lines

Literary and artwork wanted!

Between the Lines is an award winning literary and arts magazine of Edmonds College and publishes quality short fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and visual art from students, staff, and faculty at Edmonds College, as well as from the surrounding community.

We are currently accepting submissions of writing and visual art for the next issue. It is produced annually during the winter quarter and is released during the spring quarter in conjunction with the annual Student Art Exhibit.

How to submit your work:

We are now accepting submissions via Google Forms.

You’ll need to include:

  • Your full name as you would like it printed.
  • Contact information.
  • Media and titles of the work submitted.
  • An artist bio of 50 words or less.
  • A selfie (self portrait) for inclusion with the bio.

Literary requirements:

  • You may submit up to three literary works.
  • Submit your literary work as a Word (.doc or .docx) or Rich Text File (.rtf).
  • Title the file: LastName.FirstName_TitleOfWork.doc/.docx/.rtf

Visual art requirements:

  • You may submit up to three visual art works.
  • Submit your visual art as a TIFF or JPEG image at 240 PPI.
  • Title the file: LastName.FirstName_TitleOfWork.TIFF/JPEG
