Instructor Permission to Register

Note: If you’re using a mobile phone or tablet to search for classes via the ctcLink website, please use the mobile application or website at https://m.ctclink.us to search for classes due to current issues with the Class Search functionality.

As of the first day of the quarter, instructor permission is required for any class that is full or waitlisted.

To obtain instructor permission:

  • Email your instructor and ask for permission to enroll in the class
  • If the instructor will allow you into the class, you’ll need to send their emailed permission along with your request to instructor.permission@edcc.edu.
  • Please include your full name, SID, and all information about the course, including item number. (If you can provide a registration form, please do!)

Please note: If you are blocked from registering for a class due to unmet prerequisites, you will need to provide documentation showing that you have met the prerequisites. You may do this through the Testing Center, Registration, or by contacting the instructor directly.
