Let us help you fast track the process.

1. Apply.

These are the sections of the admissions application that we'll require:

Section 1 - Personal Information
Section 2 - Course of Study (Please enter Visiting Student)
Section 3 - Residency Information
Section 4 - Citizenship Information

2. Choose your class.

See class schedule

3. Satisfy your prerequisites and get registered.

Email us at visitingstudent@edcc.edu

We need the following to get you registered:

  • the specific course you want to take, with item number
  • your name
  • your student identification number (SID)
  • an unofficial transcript or other documents (see below)

Example: I'm Joe College, SID 123-45-1234. Please register me for MATH& 123, Item #1234. My unofficial transcript is attached.

We can use the following for placement and/or satisfying prerequisites:

  • Unofficial transcript
  • Overall High School GPA
  • Smarter Balanced Test Score (SBAC)
  • PreACT
  • ACT
  • PSAT
  • SAT Evidence Based Reading/Writing
  • AP English Language Composition
  • IB English
  • College Degree (Associate, Bachelors, Masters, Doctorate)
  • We offer free virtual placement testing if none of these options apply.


4. Watch your email.

We'll let you know when you've been registered, or contact you if we need more information.


5. Pay tuition.
