Oct. 28, 2018: Tragedy in Pittsburgh

Dear students:

I am incredibly saddened to hear about the senseless tragedy that happened in Pittsburgh yesterday. Please join me in keeping the victims, their families, and community in your thoughts during this time of grief.

In the days and weeks ahead, students and employees may experience emotional distress. Please take care in watching for changes in behavior and emotions and reach out to those in need by referring them to additional resources.

Our Counseling and Resource Center is available to support Edmonds College students. Please feel free to visit the center in Mountlake Terrace Hall, room 145. Center staff can be reached by phone at 425.640.1358.

Edmonds College remains committed to providing all students, employees, and community members with a safe place to learn, work, and come together. We will continue to uphold our mission and core values and honor and respect the individuality and diversity of our students and colleagues, as well as the diversity of our communities, nation, and world.
