Learning Communities

You'll find many opportunities to participate in learning communities at Edmonds College, from 10 credit Coordinated Studies classes which integrate two different disciplines to cohorts in professional/technical programs to study groups in the Learning Center.

At Edmonds College we feel strongly about the value of collaborative learning and community and offer a variety of ways for you to become involved, as students, as faculty, as learners gathered around a text, subject or other mode of inquiry. It's about community. It's about connections.

  • Learning communities make connections between subjects
  • Learning communities help students make connections between disciplines
  • Learning communities make connections between students
  • Learning communities make connections between students and faculty in a supportive and dynamic learning environment
