The Bachelor of Applied Science in Advanced Manufacturing and Materials Engineering Technology (BAS-AMMET) program focuses on hands-on learning, taught by faculty with industry experience, providing students with knowledge and skills in the manufacturing process, additive manufacturing, automation, product design, control systems, and materials characterization. Highly competitive graduates are prepared for entry-level positions in a variety of industries.

The BAS Advanced Manufacturing and Materials Engineering Technology (BAS-AMMET) degree is designed for working adults who have professional-technical academic backgrounds and strive for career advancement, stronger skills, knowledge, and pathways to higher degree levels.
Breakdown of Degree Requirements (180 credits)
Admission into the program is by BAS-AMMET application only and follows a cohort model with a maximum enrollment of 30 students per cohort.
Cohort: all students begin together and proceed with the same AMMET classes each quarter for the duration of at least 2 years (6 quarters).
At this time, cohorts start once a year in the Fall quarters. Application periods run from the Winter through Summer quarters.
