Communication Studies

Open up a world of career options.

Welcome back, Tritons!
The campus is now open to help you get ready for classes. Most offices will continue to have some virtual hours as well as in-person hours. Classes (online, hybrid, and face to face) begin on September 20. We can't wait to see you!

Edmonds College offers communication courses that explore relationships, social justice, business, media, public speaking, and health. If you are undecided on your major, taking communication classes can provide you with vital skills for any degree and career. In an increasingly competitive job market, having communication expertise can allow you to stand out. A survey by the National Association of Colleges and Employers found that communication skills are among the top ten attributes employers look for in a resume. Visit the National Communication Association to find out more about communication as a major.
