Humanities

Open up a world of career options.

Welcome back, Tritons!
The campus is now open to help you get ready for classes. Most offices will continue to have some virtual hours as well as in-person hours. Classes (online, hybrid, and face to face) begin on September 20. We can't wait to see you!

Humanities courses are interdisciplinary and explore a variety of cultural productions, from mythology to pop culture. Students have opportunities to develop their writing skills, practice critical thinking, and learn about different cultures. Humanities courses provide humanities distribution credit towards the AA degree. They also allow you to explore possible majors in literature, history, film, and other disciplines.
