Residence Hall and Homestay Application Process
- Step 1: Go to Apply for Housing and submit your application. You will be charged the applicable fees on your CTCLink account in 2-5 business days upon submission of your application.(Interns, returning students, and family housing applicants, please email housing at Hounsing@edmonds.edu.)
- Step 2: Watch for emails regarding missing items or the housing application fee.
- Step 3: Once you pay the applicable fees, the placement process begins 1 to 2 months before the quarter starts. Shortly after placements are completed, you will be notified if you have been placed or will be on the waitlist.
- Step 4: If you are sent placement, you will need to confirm and inform us of your arrival date, estimated arrival time, and flight information. If you are on the waitlist, you will need to let us know if you want to stay on the waitlist in case any room opens up.
- Step 5: Move in on arrival day!

Before You Apply
You will need this information during the application process:
- Determine how many lengths you prefer. We ask for 3 or 4-quarter lease as it helps keep our residence hall community more safe and students feel like it is more community-oriented.
- Which building and type of room you prefer.
- Your roommate request (optional).
- Acknowledge that you have read and understand the Residence Halls Handbook and Homestay Student Handbook.
- Be aware of the housing payment information.
- Note upcoming important dates for arrival and payment.

- Are you looking for Family housing? Read more about Staff, Faculty and/or Students with Families and email Housing at housing@edmonds.edu.
- Housing application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Before You Arrive
You will need to provide us with your phone number and flight information at least two weeks before your arrival. Read more about Arrival Information.
