Classes taught: United States History, Western Civilization and World History.

"I worked in Hollywood in the 1970s and then spent time working in the Space Program at the Satellite Control Facility in California. Before coming to Edmonds College, I taught for twelve years at the University of California Santa Cruz, Santa Clara University, California State University Monterey Bay and Hartnell College. I have taught in multiple departments: History, Archaeology, Writing, and Global Studies. I have also taught for Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and was voted one of the “Twenty Best Professors” at U.C. Santa Cruz in 2007 and 2008."


Passions: History, genealogy, abstract expressionist art, medieval gardens, long distance walking, reading biographies, and travel.
