Limitless, a Postsecondary Enrollment Learning Network in Washington state, has selected Edmonds College, the Edmonds School District (ESD), and the Foundation for Edmonds School District (FESD) as one of 25 regional partnerships to join the network.

Over the next four years, Limitless will bring practitioners together who are leading the implementation of programs that support students’ transitions from high school to postsecondary education in Washington state. The partnership will connect Edmonds with other teams of local K-12 and higher education partners, creating opportunities to share information, explore new ideas, and develop best practices together.

“We are excited to partner with Edmonds School District to launch Limitless,” said Edmonds College President Dr. Amit B. Singh. “Limitless will ultimately provide students with more opportunities to access high-quality college-level courses, get a head start on their college education, and save money on tuition.”

Vice President for Instruction Kim Chapman added, “Edmonds College has a long history of working with our partners at Edmonds School District to ensure clear pathways from K-12 to higher education. With the Limitless Learning Network grant, we can enhance and expand smooth student transitions through increased advising for dual credit students and improved outreach to underrepresented populations. The grant will help us reduce barriers and provide even more opportunities for students to explore the advantages of pursuing higher education.”

The Limitless Learning Network will meet for the next four school years, starting with an in-person convening this November. Edmonds and ESD will receive $100,000 and technical assistance to help facilitate collaboration and the development of strategic, evidence-based solutions.

Edmonds School District Superintendent Rebecca Miner shared, "I am thrilled that the district will be participating in this strategic initiative to engage with both our close partners, the Foundation and College, as well as other partnerships throughout the state. I look forward to exploring new ideas and practices that will benefit both our students and those throughout the state."

“We want our children to be successful,” expressed Deborah Brandi, Foundation Executive Director. “Working together with partners around the state will help inform how we provide programs and how we can make postsecondary education as accessible as possible. Our hope is more students find success in their academic and career paths because of this important work.”

Education First – a mission-driven strategy and policy organization with deep roots in Washington and education expertise – runs the Limitless Learning Network with funding support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
