Congratulations to math students on a great finish

Edmonds College math students who participated in the Student Mathematics League test for their skill placed fourth out of 14 Northwest colleges and 29th nationally.
Top finishers from the college included Eric Olmsted, 19, of Edmonds; Wilkan Gautama, 17, of Lynnwood; and Greg Steward, 16, of Lynnwood. The competitor is sponsored by the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC).
More than 165 colleges in 35 states participate — as many as 8,000 community college math students.
