Garage sale for a good cause June 27-28

A garage sale this weekend benefits the Lynnwood Police “Shop With A Cop” holiday
program. The sale is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sat., June 27 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.,
Sun., June 28 at the old CompUSA building in the Lynnwood Square at 19800 44th Avenue
W. in Lynnwood.
“Shop with a Cop” is an opportunity for law enforcement officers to foster positive relationships within their community and Lynnwood officers look forward to being a part of this special December, holiday project.
Because of donations from the community, and support of the Lynnwood Wal-Mart, Target and Fred Meyer stores, the 2008 event benefited 19 local mothers and 22 children in-need with Pathways for Women YWCA.
Special thanks goes to Samuel & Company for their donation of business space in the Lynnwood Square to use for the garage sale and Trader Joe’s for its donations. Also, thanks goes to volunteer Sheila Morgan–Tapp for helping coordinate the garage sale fundraiser.
