Schooler named Coach of the Year; women's basketball heads to playoffs

Jennifer Schooler has been named Coach of the Year for the Northern Region for the
2009-10 season by the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges. Schooler
was also featured in February in The Herald, "Edmonds CC women go from winless to
contender," about her turnaround of the team.
The Women's basketball team is headed to the NWAACC championship playoffs. The Tritons will play in game six versus Centralia at 2 p.m., March 6, in Kennewick. Player Whitney Anderson was also named to the 2009-10 NWAACC Women’s Basketball All-Stars. For the men's team, Tyler Monroe was named to the 2009-10 NWAACC Men’s Basketball All-Stars.
Schooler played basketball for two years at Wenatchee Valley College and went on to play Division I basketball on scholarship at the University of Idaho.
