Community and technical college board meet Aug. 3 to review budget
07/30/2010This property acquisition has long been a part of the college’s campus master plan. The City’s current uses include police lab/training, impound lot, and golf course maintenance and storage. Edmonds CC currently rents space from the City for their central receiving, horticulture program, custodial services and grounds, and maintenance operations. The college’s intent is to use the buildings and property as is for a period of time to be negotiated with the City as a condition of sale while the City moves some of its programs out of the buildings. At that point the vacated spaces will be used for vocational programs such as Construction Industry Trade and Horticulture. One building will be demolished for additional parking.
