Scholarship opportunity: Study abroad this summer or fall

Apply by March 1 for a Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship for undergraduate study abroad students who receive Federal Pell Grant funding for 2-year or 4-year colleges. Community college students are encouraged to apply for this scholarship, and last spring Edmonds College student Joshua Tripp received a Gilman Scholarship for his study abroad in Florence, Italy.
"It gave new meaning to my life," Tripp said.
Edmonds CC offers study abroad programs to Spain (three weeks), Cost Rica (four weeks), and Southeast Asia (two to four weeks) this summer and to South Africa and Japan fall quarter.
