Join ArtsNow, Edmonds College’s non-credit continuing education classes, for a reception for a new multimedia art exhibit, “A View from the EDGE,” 5-8 p.m., Thurs., May 17 at the Edmonds Conference Center, 201 Fourth Ave N. Edmonds. Live music and refreshments will be provided at this free event.
It's part of the Third Thursday Edmonds Art Walk.
The exhibit features works by 12 graduates of the EDGE Professional Development Program for Visual Artists, developed by Artist Trust. The artists completed eight weeks of intense education at ArtsNow. The exhibit features fiber art, photography, painting, and jewelry.
It will be on display through June 7 in the ArtsNow gallery.
Every year, ArtsNow offers the EDGE program for artists, a survey of professional practices through a hands-on curriculum that includes instruction by professionals in the field. The EDGE Program provides artists with entrepreneurial skills to help them achieve their career goals and creates a community of artists.
