The Food Revolution of Snohomish County — a movement aimed at encouraging growing, cooking, preserving, and eating real and healthy food — presents the Celebration of Food Tour.

The tour — focusing on growing, cooking, and purchasing local food — features free, family events hosted throughout Snohomish County.

In its first year, the food tour is a continuation of the May 18 Celebration of Food Festival presented by the Food Revolution of Snohomish County.

Mother Nature's Organics | June 21 | 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. | Celebrate the summer solstice with a fun, free afternoon on the farm. Activities include a farm tour, kids activities, produce stand, and a live band! Please register at www.MotherNaturesOrganics.com

Lynnwood Farmers Market | July 3 | 3-7 p.m. | Spend the afternoon at the Farmer's Market for Red, White, and Blue Night! In addition to shopping for fresh produce, there will be a patriotic celebration including games, crafts, and activities for the whole family.

Biringer Farm | July 19-20 | 9 a.m.-6 p.m. | Experience Raspberry Fest! Bring family and friends and join staff in various activities around the farm. Farmer Frog Olivia Park Site | Aug. 14 | 4-6 p.m. | Stop by Olivia Park Elementary School for a fun gardening experience. Farmer Frog is a nonprofit organization working with local schools and communities teaching people how to grow food in the city. Come learn how a school garden works and join other kids and families in making a free garden art project.
