Edmonds College Art Gallery spring exhibition showcases students’ art
05/05/26The Edmonds College Art Gallery’s spring exhibition, Student Art Show, features collections of artwork by nine emerging student artists. The gallery offers a diverse range of mixed media, painting, sculpture, and ceramics. The exhibition will be on display from May 8 to June 12 on the third floor of Lynnwood Hall, 20000 68th Ave. W, Lynnwood, Wash.
The show highlights the work of Alexandria Ashley, Christian Douglas, Karis Johnson, Daphne Lynch, Zoe Mody, Aya Nakano, Jinx Pineda, Lika Rukhadze, and Felicity Silvers.
“These nine artists have gained vital professional experience by navigating the complexities of installing their work and articulating their creative visions through formal statements and bios,” said Audineh Asaf, faculty chair of the art department. “By leading upcoming artist talks and workshops, they are bridging the gap between the classroom and the public. It is always a privilege to support students as they take this first major step in their professional careers.”
The community is invited to celebrate these artists at the opening reception on Friday, May 8, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. The reception will be held on the third floor of Lynnwood Hall and is free and open to the public. Food and refreshments will be served, and live piano music will be provided by a student musician.
