Our Bachelor of Applied Science in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (BAS-ROBAI) program focuses on hands-on learning. The program covers mechatronics design, language and speech technology, AI applications for machine learning, and autonomous systems. You will be taught by faculty with industry experience who will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed in the growing field of robotics in manufacturing. When you earn your degree, you will be a highly competitive graduate prepared for positions in a variety of industries in the Seattle area, Washington State and beyond.

Application Process

Admission to the BAS-ROBAI program is by application only. The program follows a cohort model that admits 30 students each fall. 

Each cohort will follow a specific sequence of BAS-ROBAI classes each quarter throughout the program. The program lasts two years (or six quarters).

At this time, cohorts start once a year in the fall quarter. Application periods run from the winter through summer quarters.

Students will have first completed an  Associate in Applied Science - Transfer (AAS-T) in Robotics and Automation Technology, Mechatronics,  or a similar degree.

Students are encouraged to consult the STEM Program Manager for eligibility evaluation and further discuss whether additional courses are needed before applying.
