General Education Development (GED)®
Get Prepared and Test with Confidence!
The GED® is a four-part high school equivalency exam in reading, language arts, social studies, science, and math. GED® is an excellent option for students who didn’t finish high school but may have knowledge and skills comparable to a high school graduate. Preparation classes are offered to build your skills and test with confidence. Classes cost $25 per quarter and are available day and evening to fit your schedule. GED® tests cost $36 per subject. Practice tests are $6.99 each.
During normal operations, testing can occur on campus at the Testing Center.
Check our hours of operation and schedule your test online at GED.com.

Tuition Information
Tuition is $25 per quarter. However, it is the policy of the College and Career Prep (formerly Adult Basic Education) and GED® programs at Edmonds College to ensure that all those who need to improve their basic skills can enroll in the College and Career Prep and GED® programs.
If the $25 tuition fee presents a barrier to a student, a scholarship or waiver can be granted by requesting it from the College and Career Prep/GED advisor when enrolling for classes.
