What

A national conference where undergraduate students from all over the United States present their original research.  This is an incredible opportunity to share your hard work, network with peers, and learn from scholars in your field!

When and Where

This year's conference will be in Richmond, Virginia from April 13-15.  A team from Edmonds College will leave on April 12th and return on the 16th.

What Does it Cost?

Nothing! All travel related costs will be paid by NSF Innovation in Two Year Colleges,  grant #2413286.

Who is Eligible to Join the Edmonds Team?

Any Edmonds College student who meets the following criteria:

  • Will have a research project and poster completed by April 12, 2026.
  • Has an abstract ready to submit by the December 5th deadline.
  • Has the full support of their faculty mentor.

I'm interested! How do I apply?

  1. Talk to Your Faculty Mentor: Get their support for your application.

  2. Show Your Interest: Complete the Edmonds College Interest Form.
This lets us know you are intersted in going. We'll work with you to make sure your abstract gets submitted on time.

  3. Apply to NCUR. Your proposal must first be accepted by NCUR before we can add you to the team. The deadline is December 5th!

  4. Wait to see if your proposal is accepted. Note that we only have funding for a limited number of students. We cannot guarantee that we can fund your travel even if your proposal is accepted. If there are more accepted proposals than we can fund, we will have a selection process to determine the members of the Edmonds team. We will also seek additional funding from student government for any students who were not selected. The availability of any additional funding is not guaranteed.
