The Visual Arts Department at Edmonds College is a collective of the Art, Photography and Visual Communications programs. We build curriculum, share resources, and coordinate student activities for a collaborative environment. We offer numerous extracurricular opportunities outside the classroom through field trips, visiting artists, open labs, and art clubs. We also provide professional training through an annual student art show, and portfolio development.
As a visual arts student, you’ll work with instructors who are professional artists and love to create as much as you do. You’ll learn to imagine through exploration, innovate through creative thinking, and inspire through visual communication.
Take courses in drawing, painting, design, sculpture, pottery, art appreciation, and art history.
