Bias Response Team
Edmonds College is committed to fostering a safe, welcoming, and inclusive campus community for all students and staff to learn and work. We need your help creating an environment where others can thrive without fear of hate or bias so that we can all excel.
The Vice President for Equity, Inclusion and Belonging serves as the chair of the Bias Response Team (BRT). The Vice President for Equity, Inclusion and Belonging may also appoint a co-chair. Reports of bias-based behavior will be routed to the Bias Response Team chair.
The core team consists of the VP for Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, PIO officer, VP of Human Resources and Operations or designee, VP of Finance, Grants and Institutional Effectiveness or designee, VP of Instruction or designee, Student Conduct Officer, VP for Student Services or designee, Director or Assistant Director of Counseling, and Director of Safety, Security and Emergency Preparedness or designee. Other identified team representatives may be added - depending on the incident.
