Spend spring break building trails on Orcas Island

Join S.A.V.E. the Earth Club and the Center for Service-Learning April 1-3 for an alternative spring break on Orcas Island.
Hop aboard the Indigo, a 65-foot coastal cruiser, with SEA (Service, Education and Adventure) and motor on up to beautiful Orcas Island. Then, spend a day getting your hands dirty building trails and removing invasive species at Moran State Park. Work with local non-profit organizations and state government while learning about human interactions with our ecosystem.
Register by March 25. Space is limited. $30 to participate. Email Amy Johnson, Service-Learning Program Coordinator, to get a registration form.
Meet at 7:30 a.m. at the south entrance to Snohomish Hall on Wed., April 1, and return on the evening of Fri., April 3.

Get Your Hands Dirty and Your Feet Wet LEAF School (Human Ecology classes) Join the Learn and Serve Environmental Anthropology Field (LEAF) school and earn college credit for hands-on work restoring native habitat.
