Accounting students helped nearly 400 people file their tax returns

This year, 16 students in Accounting 215, Federal Income Tax Preparation, helped nearly 400 community members file their tax returns at Edmonds College’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance site established through the Internal Revenue Service. The average refund from an e-filed return was more than $1,500.
