English instructor writes about Compassionate Listening workshop

Edmonds College English instructor Sarah Zale published an article "Compassionate Listening & Social Justice: Teaching CL in Community College," in the December issue of the Compassionate Listening Project newsletter.
Zale wrote about a Compassionate Listening workshop held at the college in fall 2010, her work as advisor to the student Peace and Justice club, and encouraging her students to submit their work to Yes! Magazine's Exemplary Essay Project as part of her English Composition classes.
