Alternate Morning Class Start Times
|If Class Begins||Refer to This Class Start Time Above:|
Afternoon Classes (3 p.m. or later start)
Classes with a meeting time of 3:00 p.m. or later will hold final exams at the usual meeting time on these dates:
|Class Meets||Final Day||Final Date|
Saturday Classes will hold final exams at the regular class hour on the last scheduled class day.
No student is required to take three (or more) final exams during any 24-hour period. Students who find themselves in this situation (or discover conflicting exam times) should contact their instructors in a timely manner to devise an alternative schedule.
Faculty are not required to hold a final exam and may instead hold another class activity during the scheduled final exam time (or not meet at all), but if no meeting is scheduled faculty should be easily available to students during this time. Faculty teaching asynchronous classes should schedule final exams during a "window" of time, provide more than one option for the final exam time, or otherwise work with students who may face schedule conflicts.
