| About: The Bee Club’s purpose is to care and learn about the beehives located on the campus farm. Create events and education with other bee byproducts.

If one catches your attention, feel free to reach out to the Student Organizations Team for further guidance or possible information on the student group, the previous leaders, or advisors.

Don't see a currently chartered student organization you're interested in? Why not start your own? Follow these steps below to get started:

1. Read and review the Student Organizations Checklist to familiarize yourself with the timeline and process to charter. 
   
   
2. Find one more student (a minimum of two students is required to charter)* with similar goals, interests, or social identity to start the student organization, and find a minimum of one advisor.
   
   
3. Fill out the 2024-2025 Yearly Constitution and collect all of the student officers' most current class schedule. You will need these documents to upload when applying to charter.
   
   
4. Fill out a Chartering Application via our Student Organizations Database. Wait for an “Approval” email from the Coordinators Team.
   
   
5. Complete the Student Officer Training by registering for a Student Officer Training via the Student Organizations Database to learn the policies, regulations, and possibilities of being a club/affinity group.

Once you have completed these steps you'll be a chartered student organization. For more information, please refer to the 2024-2025 ASEC Student Organizations Handbook or contact a Student Organizations Coordinator.

*Note: If you do not have a total of two students to charter, please email Eduardo Torres (eduardo.torres@edmonds.edu) to inquire about token placements. 

**Note: New, first-time students and the president must complete the training. If you have returning student officers, please let the Student Organizations Team know as they are exempt.

Chartering Begins: Monday, September 23rd,  2024
Student Organizations Fair: Wednesday, October 9th, 2024
Last Day to Get Chartered & Receive Allocation: Friday,  November 1st, 2024
Quarterly Report Due: Friday, December 6th, 2024

Already chartered? Here are the important forms we covered over during the Student Officer Training. If you have any questions regarding these forms, please connect with the Student Organizations Team.

• Planning an event or meeting? Be sure to submit any Room Reservations or Marketing Requests via the CSEL Request Form within at least 10 to 14 Business Days.
  
  
• Is there going to be club funded food during the event? Ensure to collect Agreement Signatures if less than 50 people consumes food and/or drinks during the event.
  
  
• If your organization is planning on doing a fundraiser, be sure to fill out and submit the Fundraiser Form at least least ten to fourteen (10 to 14) business days before you plan on holding the fundraiser event.
  
  
• Conducting an activity that might pose a risk? Have each participating members sign a Student Release Form and give to your advisor. Contact Eduardo Torres (eduardo.torres@edmonds.edu) to create and distribute the form.
  
  
• Student Organizations are required to submit the Quarterly Report by the Friday before finals of the current quarter to maintain active chartered status.
  
  
•  Looking for additional funds to help support your student group's activities, events, or program? Fill out the Funding Request Form in its entirety. (Max: $300 over the course of one academic year. Summer through spring.
