GET STARTED IN SCHOOL OF ACADEMIC FOUNDATIONS

Step 1: New Student High School Completion
Completing this form will help us understand your goal and guide you towards achieving it.

Step 2: Reading/Writing and Math Assessment
Plan on 20 minutes per assessment. These will help us determine the right classes for you to discuss during your first one-on-one advising appointment.

Step 3: New to Edmonds College? Edmonds College Application
Once you complete this application form, you'll be emailed a student number needed to register for classes. (Tip: When applying, select "create an account" and "transitional studies" is our program).

Step 4: Transcripts
To avoid unnecessary classes, bring your unofficial transcript to your first advising appointment or email to: adulthighschool@edmonds.edu
Parchment is the preferred online resource for accessing high school transcripts.

Step 5: Schedule and Attend an In-Person Orientation
We offer in-person orientations at various dates and times before each quarter. To get the most out of your orientation, complete as many of the steps above as possible beforehand. During orientation you'll schedule your first one-on-one advising and registration appointment.
