I love "everything aerospace-related," earning my pilot's license at age 19. My current interests include autonomous flight, green energy, and resource recycling, particularly regarding long-term missions in space.
After earning my bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, I worked in industry, including at Boeing, specializing in structural finite element analysis. I left The Boeing Co. to pursue my advanced degrees at the University of Washington, earning my doctorate in Aeronautics and Astronautics with a focus on plasma physics. I am currently a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Washington.
