LPN to RN Program

The LPN to AN DTA program will be delivered part-time over four consecutive quarters.  Our first cohort of students will be admitted in the fall and attend classes during the fall, winter, spring, and summer quarters.

After graduation, you must take and pass the NCLEX-RN examination to be licensed by the state as a Registered Nurse. Licensed graduates are qualified for employment with a greater scope of practice. You will be prepared to care for increasingly complex patient populations in hospitals, long-term care facilities, outpatient clinics, schools, home care agencies, and other practice settings.

We have not determined if the nursing curriculum meets educational requirements for licensure/certification outside of Washington state. If you plan to work out of state, we encourage you to check relevant local licensure/certification requirements. You can find information regarding each state’s RN licensing requirements on the National Council of State Boards of Nursing website.

We select students using a holistic admission index scoring system that incorporates several components of the applicants' eligibility. The minimum requirements to apply include:

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 for Practical Nursing (PN) courses from your certificate or degree
• Minimum of 12 months of experience as an LPN
• 65 credits of pre-nursing prerequisites
