LPN to Associate in Nursing DTA Program
Are you a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) ready to advance your career? Edmonds College has designed a seamless path just for you.
Our Associate in Nursing Direct Transfer Agreement (AN DTA) program—also known as an LPN to RN Bridge Program—is your next step in becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) and working towards a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). You will receive an Associate's Degree in Nursing and will be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN and be licensed to practice as an RN. This degree is a Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA), which enables you to transition directly into a BSN program within Washington State: Practical Nursing Program to Associate in Nursing DTA/MRP Statewide Major Related Program (MRP).
We have received approval from the Washington State Board of Nursing (WABON) for this program, so you can be confident you're receiving a high-quality education that is among the Approved Nursing Programs in WA. The program is part-time, allowing you to balance your career while you learn. We offer a flexible hybrid format, combining online theory courses with in-person labs and clinical sessions, held one to two days per week.
The best part? This program builds on your Practical Nursing Certificate, which means you'll save money, take fewer credits, and simplify your journey toward a rewarding new career.
We are here to support you every step of the way as you achieve your goals.
