Practical Nursing Application

Applications for the Fall 2025 Practical Nursing Cohort closed on June 20, 2025

  • If you are a current applicant who wrote an essay with us, you will receive a determination about your admission by Saturday, August 9, 2025. Please do not contact the program before this for a decision. 
  • If you are ready, or think you will be, to apply during our next application cycle, please connect with Nursing Program Navigator, Julia Erickson. By providing your name and preferred email, we can notify you of any program updates and contact you when the next application is available.

Tentative Fall 2026 Practical Nursing application timeline:

  • January 1, 2026: The updated Fall 2026 Application Packet will be available on this webpage. This packet is for informational purposes only, and the Fall 2025 packet is a good guide for what to expect in the upcoming cycle (see below).
  • April 6, 2026: The Fall 2026 Canvas application course will be open on this day, and instructions for how to begin the process will be posted on this webpage. This is also the start of the final quarter which applicants can complete the minimum program requirements (prerequisite courses, TEAS exam, patient care experience). If you are unable to complete all items by the end of the quarter, you will be invited to apply in 2027.
  • June 18, 2026: The Fall 2026 PN application will close on this day. All application information and supporting documents will be due by 5:00 PM to continue in the application process. Applicants who are unable to meet our minimum requirements by this date will be invited to apply in 2027.
