Pursuit Internships
Pursuit internships aim to help individuals with disabilities obtain competitive and meaningful employment. Please note that we can not guarantee a placement and opportunities are dependent on community partnerships. However, our internship program does provide professional development and support in becoming prepared for employment.
Key Internship Details
- 10 weeks of services.
- Up to 2 hours a week of support and professional development.
- Classes that support success in advocacy, professional etiquette, resume development, and how to compete in the job market.
- Virtual/remote and in-person access to classes.
- Work is geared towards gaining experience and skills in fields of interest.
Eligibility Requirements
To participate and apply, you must:
- Be 16 or older
- Have a disability
- Have participated or are participating in Pursuit LAB, RISE, or LEAD
- Have all federally required documentation to work in the United States
- Have dependable transportation
- Be able to work a minimum of 5 hours
- Complete an intern survey
- Complete intern classes
