Pursuit Internships

Pursuit internships aim to help individuals with disabilities obtain competitive and meaningful employment. Please note that we can not guarantee a placement and opportunities are dependent on community partnerships. However, our internship program does provide professional development and support in becoming prepared for employment.

Key Internship Details

  • 10 weeks of services.
  • Up to 2 hours a week of support and professional development.
  • Classes that support success in advocacy, professional etiquette, resume development, and how to compete in the job market.
  • Virtual/remote and in-person access to classes. 
  • Work is geared  towards gaining experience and skills in fields of interest. 

Eligibility Requirements

To participate and apply, you must:

  • Be 16 or older
  • Have a disability
  • Have participated or are participating in Pursuit LAB, RISE, or LEAD
  • Have all federally required documentation to work in the United States
  • Have dependable transportation
  • Be able to work a minimum of 5 hours
  • Complete an intern survey
  • Complete intern classes
