Relationships in STEM Education (RiSE)
The RiSE program offers peer mentors to students in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Mentors are knowledgeable guides who can connect you to the right people and resources on campus to help you succeed.
RiSE students also have access to many other benefits, including:
- A community of peers in STEM
- Academic and professional development workshops
- Career exploration events
- Opportunities to volunteer for RiSE-related workshops and events
You are eligible for RiSE if you are earning an associate degree and/or intending to transfer to a four-year institution in one of the following fields of study: astronomy, biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, environmental science, geology, mathematics, materials science, physics, or pre-nursing.
RiSE is available to students of any status. We welcome full-time, part-time, international, non-resident, and Running Start students!
Our application is open any time that our mentors have capacity. If our application is closed, please contact the RiSE director at firstname.lastname@example.org to get notified when the application reopens.
