Commencement Ticket Information
Good news! Thanks to the expanded capacity at Angel of the Winds Arena, students can request as many commencement tickets as they need!
Students may pick up their tickets starting Tuesday, May 26. Here are the locations and times tickets can be picked up:
- May 26-June 4: Bookstore - Brier Hall (M-Th, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; CLOSED: Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- June 8-16: Brier 252 (M-TH, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., CLOSED: Saturday, Sunday)
Tickets are required for all guests! No exceptions. Guests enter the Arena at the Oakes & Hewitt entrance and are required to go through a security checkpoint. Please review the Important Policies to ensure a safe and fun event!
Guests who require ASL, please look for the section provided for this. Additionally, sections near the front will be provided for guests with mobility issues.
Commencement Attire
The ceremony does not have an official attire, and we highly suggest dressing in what makes you feel your best and most comfortable - business casual works, too. However, each student needs to wear a navy cap and gown, bachelor students wear grey, which can be ordered until April 22 at Herff Jones. Cap and gowns will be shipped directly to the address on your order form.
You may order your cap and gown in person from May 26-June 4 at the Grad Fair, located in the Bookstore in Brier Hall (M-Th, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.;CLOSED: Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Caps and gowns will be available to puchase until Commencement Day.

- The cap and gown bundle price is $54.00 before tax.
- Students will be able to order their bundles shipped to their home address. Shipping cost is $14.90 for ground and $21.30 for expedited.
- OR ship to the bookstore for FREE!
- If you choose free shipping to the bookstore, students will be notified via email and/or phone call.
- Delivery will take 30 days if delivered to the bookstore and 3-4 weeks if shipped directly to your home address.
Honor Cords
For students graduating with a 3.8 GPA, you are eligible for Commencement Honors, which will be stated at the top of your official transcript. We will have a list of students eligible for the yellow/gold honor cord, and it will be provided when you pick up your tickets.
Livestream Capabilities & Viewing Space
As we recognize the importance of having family and friends, loved ones, and supporters with you on one of the biggest days in your academic career, we are happy to state that we will live stream the ceremony via Edmonds College’s Official YouTube channel. A link will be provided on the Commencement web page on the day of the ceremony.
