Ms. Perla Reyes Memorial Fund

Perla Reyes, an Edmonds College alumna, passed away on August 5th, 2021. Perla served her community through her work as the Manager and Senior Accountant at Las Americas Business Center in Lynnwood. She was dedicated to her family, friends, clients and community, personally and professionally.  Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, devoted to providing the best financial business services available.

At one point, she created and delivered a series of popular seminars on business and financial planning to entrepreneurs and college students. Highly intelligent and motivated to understand and respond to her client’s needs, she supported those in wide-range of industries (Construction, Landscaping, Insurance, Mortgage Finance, restaurants, Real Estate, etc.) by providing tax preparation for individual and corporate entities as well as financial statements, cash flow and bank reconciliation, quarterly reports for owners and shareholders and sales and payroll reports. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ms. Perla E. Reyes Memorial Fund through Edmonds College's Foundation. As an immigrant from Peru, Perla was a life-long learner, a steadfast supporter of the needs of everyone around her, always kind and giving. Your generous donation supports the next generation of Latinos y Latinas at Edmonds College, many of whom have known Perla and Rosario Reyes through the Latino Educational Leadership Institute and Perla's bilingual accounting services in our community.
