Doing Business with the College
Purchasing Services Office is dedicated to supporting the College’s mission by facilitating the procurement and acquisition of goods, equipment and services in compliance with established College policy and laws and regulations set forth by the State of Washington and the Federal Government. We acquire these commodities at the highest possible quality in the most economical and efficient manner using ethical and sound business practices.
Purchasing Services establishes personal services contracts, conducts competitive solicitations to establish long- and short-term contracts, utilizes existing State and other master contracts, facilitates sole source purchases, enters into rental and lease contracts and addresses any contract or vendor issues.
Edmonds College is a public institution and, as such, documents submitted (i.e. bids, proposals, literature, pricing, etc.) are considered public record.
In support of environmental sustainability, the College may give preference to Supplier products and services that are produced, packaged and delivered using materials and methods that have minimal harmful impact on the affected ecological systems.
