Announcement: 2024 Annual Edmonds College Powwow Cancelled

With heavy hearts, we announce the cancellation of this year's annual college Powwow. This difficult decision was made after much consideration and deliberation.

We understand the significance of the Powwow in bringing together our community, celebrating Indigenous cultures, and fostering connection. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all those who have supported the Powwow over the years.

While this year's Powwow may not take place, we remain hopeful for the future. Please stay tuned for updates on future events.

The Edmonds College Powwow

The powwow brings together students, families, and communities to celebrate American Indian singing, drumming, dancing, and arts and crafts.

Powwows are social gatherings - open to all people - celebrating American Indian tribes' traditions, styles of dance, songs, families, and friendships. Dancers and drummers come to the college's powwow from tribes throughout the Northwest and United States.

Students and employees of Edmonds College participate in a variety of environmental, service-learning, and cultural activities throughout the year in support of local tribes and tribal members.
