What you'll learn in ETEC110
An introduction to the basics of manufacturing - including safety practices, and the proper use of equipment to perform fundamental processes such as drilling and cutting on commonly used materials such as metals and composites.

- Proper equipment operation
- Drilling, cutting, and riveting fundamentals
- Introduction to soldering, wiring, and welding
- Working with metals and composites
- Overview of basic manufacturing processes
- Earn the OSHA-10 certification
- Earn an SME (Society of Manufacturing Engineers) Certified Manufacturing Associate professional certification.
This class is a combination of in-person hands-on learning and online courses, requiring the use of a computer to access and complete the assignments.

Students will attend on-campus classes Monday-Thursday for 16 hours each week for four weeks. They will also be required to complete online coursework, which is available 24/7 in the online CANVAS classroom.
Tuition:
For tuition for a 5-credit class + college fees (assessment, sustainability, lab fee, etc.).
