Holistic Academic Advising
The MESA team provides Holistic Academic Advising. This means MESA will not only help you with creating a tailored academic plan for your needs and goals, but will also help you develop into a competitive STEM transfer student and with any other questions you have along your journey at Edmonds CC - such as financial planning, food insecurity, personal development, finding emergency funding, imposter syndrome, and more. If we don't know the answer to your question, we will help you find the answer.

Transfer and Academic Assistance
Through the MESA Orientation, MESA Holistic Student Academic Plan Worksheet, hands-on workshops, and one-on-one assistance, you will learn how to become a competitive STEM transfer student.

MESA Scholarships
MESA Scholarships were created to remove the financial burden of obtaining an education. There are four types of MESA Scholarships: Tuition & Fees, Conference Fees, Books & Supplies, and University Application Fees.

Academic Excellence Workshops
Academic Excellence Workshops (AEWs) is key to the academic success of MESA students. AEWs consist of small groups working together to master course content with the guidance of a student facilitator. This student facilitator is trained to develop exercises that foster engagement with key elements and concepts in challenging courses such as calculus and physics. Students gain core concept mastery and develop a strong peer learning community.
