Research Opportunities

What do I need to be successful in a research career?

Research Experience

The best way to begin acquiring that experience is through Course-based Undergraduate Research Experiences. In these courses, you will learn the fundamentals of research and discover how to find other opportunities to expand your research experience, such as internships.

Internships

Find out about internship opportunities here on the Edmonds campus as well as other opportunities. On campus we have paid opportunities to work as a C.U.R.E. Coaches or C.U.R.E. Research & Teaching Assistants. You can also apply for internships the are specific to your field. Check our UGR calendar for more opportunities, such as workshops and upcoming internship openings. Don't forget that it is important to connect with your instructors and build relationships so you can ask them to write letters of recommendation for internships and other research opportunities. Be sure to seek out on-campus opportunities to develop your resume/curriculum vitae, cover letters, and letters of interest when applying for internships.
