How Can I Pay For My Child Care?
Paying for Childcare
- No fees are collected until a child is accepted into the program. Monthly fees are paid in advance of services.
- Center for Families accepts DCYF Working Connections subsidies for students and employees.
- Families can make payments using a ctcLink account or by paying at the Cashier's Office in Lynnwood Hall.
- Tuition and subsidized co-payments are payable on the first business day of each month.
- Assistance is available to bill foundations, scholarships, or employers financially supporting your childcare expenses.
Resources to Help Pay for Childcare
- Students can work with Edmonds College's financial aid office to request that their assistance cover part or all of their childcare expenses.
- Working Connections provides state-subsidized childcare through the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). Working Connections is only accepted for employees and students taking six or more credits.
- BFET is a program for students that do not work and are food-stamp eligible through DSHS. Other eligibility requirements exist. Please contact BFET for more information.
- Goodwin Connections is a family program that provides scholarships for childcare tuition fees up to $2,200 per child per quarter. Applications are typically required at least two quarters in advance. Please contact https://goodwinconnections.org/
