Welcome!

The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) is located on the second floor of Lynnwood Hall, Room 215. One floor above Enrollment Services and one floor below the Library. Stop on by or contact us directly.

NEW VA EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR POST 9/11 GI-BILL STUDENT!

Beginning on and after December 17, 2021 student who are using their Post-9/11 Gi Bill here at Edmonds will need to verify their Enrollment at the end of each month. Failure to verify for two consecutive months will impact your Monthly Housing Allowance (MAH) and/or kicker payments here at Edmonds and all state colleges. Students, please go to Department of VA Education to sign up for either a text messaging from VA as this will also help with you verifying your enrollment status.  

Also, we are now required to certify twice per months to verify your enrollment per quarter per new rules  set forth by VA Education. This means we will certify you before the Add drop/ and after the Add drop period of each quarter.

VA Work Study position available

For all qualified student veterans, we have a limited amount of space for those that would like a VA approved work study position in the Veteran Resource Center for the 2021-22 school year. Please inquire if interested.

Veterans Computer Lab (temporarly closed for winter quarter).  

The veteran Resource Center has a computer lab for Student veterans, dependents and spouses located in Lynnwood Hall 2nd Floor Rm. 214 that available for use. Due to college policy we will have COVID 19 procedures in place while using our computer lab for everyone's protection. 

VA Certification request

For all Veterans (Ch. 33), Voc Rehab (Ch. 31), Spouse or dependent of a Veteran (Ch. 35), and people requesting the Washington state 71 and 72 Waiver; Please fill out the Quarterly (Blue Form) each quarter to request certification for that quarter.

VRC Staff will be working remotely for Winter Quarter. To request an in-person appointment please click on the appointment link to fill out the request for an appointment form. Our work hours are Mon.-Thurs.: 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Fri.: 8.30 a.m.-12 p.m. Staff will be working remote and will be available virtually for questions and services.

Note: Hours of operation may be adjusted during breaks between quarters and during the Summer quarter. The VRC is closed on federal holidays and during all Edmonds College campus-wide closures. Please see the Contact VRC and Plan of the Week pages for changes to the schedule.
