“I grew up in the midwest, where I earned a BA in English (UM - St Louis) and an MA
in English (Miami U of Ohio). In 1992, I moved to Seattle and continued my English
literature/language studies at the UW for about a year while also beginning my full-time
teaching career at Edmonds College.
I didn’t precisely map out every aspect of my education and career in advance, but I’m very glad that my interests and opportunities led me to Edmonds. Even in the most stressful moments, I love working with and being inspired by my students and colleagues.”
