Soundsation Jazz Choir

Soundsation, the pride of Edmonds College’s renowned music program, is a musical ensemble dedicated to the advancement of singing and playing America’s uniquely original artform...Jazz! Founded in 1974 by highly respected music educator, Frank DeMiero, Soundsation has enjoyed a rich heritage of establishing, advancing and preserving the integrity of vocal jazz education.

In Soundsation you will:

Learn jazz performance including style and articulation.
Learn vocal and instrumental (rhythm section) technique as well as ensemble and performance skills.
Perform and tour as a member of a talented vocal jazz ensemble at high schools, colleges, and jazz festivals.
Host the annual DeMiero Jazz Fest, where school jazz choirs gather to share music and to learn.
Get an opportunity to share the stage with some of the greatest names in jazz.
