ALLIED HEALTH EDUCATION
Find Your Future in Health Care
If you have a passion for helping others, we invite you to explore our allied health programs. Working directly with people or behind the scenes, allied health professionals are involved in the assessment, evaluation, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
Our faculty are experienced health care professionals who represent a variety of fields. Our affiliations with local health care facilities allow students to get hands-on experience and hone their skills in real-world settings.
Whether you are looking to start your career in health care, upgrade current skills and credentials, or take the next step along your health care career pathway, we can help you get there.
Clinical Experiences / Externship Requirements
Participation in a clinical experience requires proof of vaccination for common infectious diseases, including influenza and COVID-19. The Clinical Passport outlines the immunization requirements; please download a copy and keep it in a safe place. The CPNW-Clinical Passport Tutorial provides an overview of each section of the document and will take about 30 minutes to complete.
Background checks are also required to participate in clinical externships and need to be completed before registering for a clinical externship class. A list of Disqualifying Crimes and Negative Actions is provided by the DSHS Secretary.
All immunization and criminal background checks for allied health programs go through our online databank system CastleBranch. To place an order, enter package code EE78. The cost is $96.00.
We're here to help! If you have questions about immunization or background checks, contact us.
