Division of Occupational Safety and Health

The Division of Occupational Safety and Health in the Department of Labor and Industries is the governing arm for worker safety issues for all employers in the State of Washington. Its mission is to ensure Washington's employer's workplaces are safe by preventing injuries, illnesses and deaths through education, consultation and enforcement. It employs around 250 safety and health professionals around the state.
